Tales from the Silk Road …and beyond
We are travelling the Silk Road for about seven months starting from the Lebanon and then travelling overland to Syria, Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Tibet, Nepal, India. We will be using only local transport (bus, train, horse, foot).
To reach our final destination, Canada,
where we are planning to settle, we will cross the
Pacific to South America where we will stay for three
months. We will go overland from Santiago de Chile to
Tierra del Fuego, up again to Buenos-Aires &
Uruguay on our way to Guatemala and Belize.
The
journey should take us about one year, with our main
focus being on the Silk Road.
